City Hall Closed Wednesday, April 24, for Move

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, so staff can move from the current, leased offices to the new, permanent building.

The final day of operations at 3 Quail Creek Center will be Tuesday, April 23.

City Hall will reopen at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

  1. Call to order.

At 6 p.m., Arnold called the meeting to order.

  1. Roll call.

Present were commissioners Arnold, Osterhaus, Gattas and Wells. Absent was commissioner Hoffman. Also present: Nick Bergus, Erika Harper and Stefan Juran.

  1. Welcome new commissioner Tom Wells.

Wells introduced himself to the commission.

  1. Public comment for items not on the agenda.

There was none.

  1. Mediacom update.

No Mediacom representative was present.
Commissioner Wells asked about income shown from Verizon; Bergus explained it was related to a lease for cell equipment on city property.

  1. South Slope update.

No South Slope representative was present.
Commissioner Wells asked about revenue calculated; Bergus explained it was based on television-related revenue.

  1. Telecommunications staff report.

Bergus and Harper offered department highlights from June, July and August.

  1. Approval of minutes.

Osterhaus moved to approve the minutes from May 4, 2015 meeting, Gattas seconded. The motion passed with all in favor.

  1. Old business.

There was none.

There was none.

At 6:16 p.m., Osterhaus moved to adjourn the meeting, Gattas seconded. The motion passed with all in favor.
