City Hall Closed Wednesday, April 24, for Move

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, so staff can move from the current, leased offices to the new, permanent building.

The final day of operations at 3 Quail Creek Center will be Tuesday, April 23.

City Hall will reopen at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Call to order
Commissioner Fields called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.

Roll call
Commissioners Fields, Wells and Goings were present. Commissioners Hoffman and Arnold were absent. Also present were Nick Bergus and Megan Benischek.

Elect Chair and Vice Chair
Wells moved, and Goings seconded, to table with all voting in favor.

Public comment for items not on the agenda
There was none.

Staff report
Bergus reported on the staff’s activity in June and July.

Approval of minutes
Wells moved, and Goings seconded, to approve the minutes from June 5, 2017, with all voting in favor.

Old business
Bergus reported that Commissioner Hoffman has the raw data from the community survey and plans to offer some raw results at the commission’s next meeting.

New business
There was none.

Next meeting date
The next meeting was scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, due to labor day.

Adjourn
Goings moved, with Wells seconding, to adjourn the meeting at 6:17 p.m. with all voting in favor.
