Clear Creek Watershed Coalition to Host Planning Sessions

The Clear Creek Watershed Coalition, of which the City of North Liberty is a member, is hosting several planning sessions in the coming to months to develop the Clear Creek Watershed Management Plan. The plan will help shape the future of the watershed to reduce flooding and improve water quality. The watershed includes North Liberty’s southwest quadrant.

The public can help shape the future of the watershed, and it’s as easy as 1 2 3. Attendees are welcome and any or all three planning sessions.

  • Watershed Flooding & Resiliency, Aug. 29, 2018, 6 p.m., at F.W. Kent Park Conservation Education Center, 2048 Highway 6 NW, Oxford
  • Water Quality & Public Perception, Sept.  19, 2018, 6 p.m., at F.W. Kent Park Conservation Education Center, 2048 Highway 6 NW, Oxford
  • Stream Health & Recreation, Jan. 16, 2019, 6 p.m., at Coralville City Hall, 1512 7th St., Coralville

These sessions will provide local stakeholders the opportunity to learn about the Clear Creek Watershed, influence the management plan and help develop local solutions for our watershed.
