Good Neighbor Meeting: southeast corner of Kansas Ave and St. Andrews Drive

[box]April 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
North Liberty City Council Chambers
1 Quail Creek Circle
North Liberty[/box]

The city may soon consider a rezoning and subdivision plat for property and a public open house-style meeting is being held to explain the proposal. The property is at the southeast corner of Kansas Avenue and St. Andrews Drive (270 Street in Johnson County). The proposal is for a residential subdivision of multi- and single-family lots. A location map is shown on the right, and a concept plan with rezoning proposed by the developer is on the back of this page. This memo is being sent to property owners within 200 feet of the proposed development.

This Good Neighbor meeting is being held to explain the potential subdivision plat and rezoning being considered by the owner/developer, and to gather any comments you may have regarding the proposal. No staff review has been done, nor have Planning Commission or City Council actions been taken, but the application may be made as early as May 1. This meeting is intended to notify you early in the process and to help the developer understand neighborhood concerns, and other formal public meetings will be held by the Planning Commission and City Council if the development applications proceed.

Please feel free to drop in to the Good Neighbor meeting any time within the period shown above. There will not be a formal meeting or presentation; instead, City staff and the developer will be available for informal open-house discussions with maps and information regarding the proposal.

If you wish to discuss this application and are unable to attend the meeting, please contact Planning Director Dean Wheatley at (319) 626-5747
or [email protected] directly to schedule a private meeting.
