Our first ever bicycle slow roll

On Saturday, June 17, the North Liberty Recreation Department hosts the city’s first slow roll, complete with checkups before, a scavenger hunt during and food and music on the Ranshaw lawn after. The event is free and open to the public.
Slow rolls are short community- and family-oriented bike rides, traveling at a leisurely pace. Come join us for a ride around town and a social to celebrate Flag Day and Father’s Day all in one. The North Liberty Optimists will provide hot dogs and chips. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The schedule for the day:
9 to 10 a.m. | Bike and helmet safety checks |
10 to 11 a.m. | Slow roll with scavenger hunt along the approximately 8-mile route |
11 to 1 p.m. | Social picnic with food, music, bike decorations, lawn games and awards |
