Alliant Energy asks customers: conserve energy during repairs

We currently have 1600 customers that are still without power in North Liberty, we are working to restore energy for everyone in the area. We hope to have most customers back on by very late tonight. Our local system in North Liberty is operating at capacity until we are able to finish making repairs. Any energy conservation efforts customers in the North Liberty area are able to engage in between now and tomorrow mid-day will aid restoration efforts. Customers in North Liberty may experience intermittent outages this evening while on going repairs continue.
