The big news: the North Liberty Aquatics Center’s outdoor pools open for the season. Saturday, Sunday and Monday the pool will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Summer passes are available at the front desk.
On Sunday, the weekly farmers’ market runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at Penn Landing. Penn Landing Market features two dozen purveyors of local produce, farm-fresh and handmade goods, ready-to-eat food and more.
On Monday, skip mowing you lawn and, instead, come soak up some sun at the pool. Yes, again. That’s what a three-day weekend is good for.
