Snow Emergency Information
The Mayor of North Liberty has declared a snow emergency to be effective on Sunday, February 17, 2008.

* A snow emergency can be declared by the City Mayor at his/her discretion, or will automatically go into effect when snow accumulation reaches three inches.

* These conditions make it necessary that motor vehicle traffic be expedited and that parking on certain city streets be prohibited or restricted for snow plowing or other purposes.

THE FOLLOWING PARKING REGULATIONS SHALL BE IN EFFECT DURING SNOW EMERGENCIES:

1. No parking allowed on any through streets. Through streets include:
    Zeller Street
    Dubuque Street
    Penn Street

South Front Street (from Cherry St. south)
    Highway 965
Stewart Street from Cherry to Zeller St.
    Jones Boulevard
    Scales Bend Road
    Sugar Creek Lane

2. On all other streets where parking is normally allowed, you must park on the side of the street with even-numbered addresses on even-numbered days and vice-versa on odd-numbered days.

3. Between the hours of 7am and 9am, you can park on either side of the street (changeover time)

4. Any vehicles in violation of the above regulations may be towed without notice.
