Transportation planning takes high precedence in North Liberty. The City prides itself careful consideration of the flow and distribution of vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic in and around town. Streets in the City Limits must be built to urban standards (curb and storm sewer), and we encourage sidewalks and bicycle trails through all land use areas.
Transportation Master Plan
With
the help of Johnson County Council of Governments (JCCOG) and engineering firm
Shive Hattery, the City has recently adopted a Transportation Master Plan.
