Dog Swim Day at the North Liberty Aquatic Center

You have spent the summer enjoying the water and relaxing in the sun. Now it's time to let our four-legged friends in on the fun! On Wednesday, September 7, 2005 the only swimmers allowed in the pool will be your dogs. The outdoor pool will be de-chlorinated for draining at the end of the season and your pets will have the chance to try out the facilities for themselves.

    (rain date September 8)
    At the North Liberty Aquatic Center
    520 W. Cherry Street in North Liberty
    4:30 pm to 7:00 pm
    $2.00 per dog

This is a one-on-one event with one owner per dog. Pets will not be allowed on the slides, diving boards, play structures or in the indoor pool area. People will not be allowed in the water.

Participants will be admitted through the side concession stand gates. The City of North Liberty will require participants to sign a waiver of responsibility before taking part in this event.

Anyone unable to control their pet will be asked to leave - friendly dogs only, please!
