Home>City News>Housing Rehabilitation Grant Possibilities City of North Liberty Homeowners: The Housing Rehabilitation Grant is not being funded this year (2006). The City will be reapplying for the grant next year. The City of North Liberty is gathering information to establish a housing rehabilitation program. Housing rehabilitation programs are designed to assist homeowners with repairs such as: siding, roofing, plumbing and electrical work. The East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG) is assisting the City in preparing a grant application and will administer the housing rehabilitation program if funded. It is necessary to identify possible program participants now to determine the level of interest in North Liberty. ECICOG housing staff and members of the North Liberty Housing Committee encourage residents to submit a pre-application. TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST:

Please fill out the pre-application form and return it along with three photos of the exterior of your home (front and both sides) by November 18 to: ECICOG - Attn: Lisa Treharne Once pre-applications are received, you may be contacted for a brief inspection of your property to determine potential rehabilitation costs.
